Huge party & Beach Wedding at St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort

Imagine having the perfect scenario as a photographer, a couple wanting to have the summer's best party, and a large group of guests that were up for it.

Beautiful Wedding at St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort

That happened at Camille and Francisco’s wedding at beautiful St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort. When we arrived at Camille's prep, the vibe in the room was very relaxed and calm, quite the opposite of the majority getting ready we document. She was talking with her mother, super excited that the day had finally arrived. We had a few minutes to spare because Camille was 95% ready when we arrived, so that was great. It gave us time to get some cool and creative portraits.

Bridesmaids and Father's First Look

We had emotions running high as soon as she put her wedding dress on, and we did her bridesmaids and father's first look. We're always suckers for first looks! You get that raw emotion out of people. With her bridesmaids, it was all screams and happiness; on the other side, we captured a silent and tender moment with Camille's dad. I can only imagine how many thoughts go through a father's head as he sees his daughter dressed for her wedding day. No matter how many times we witness moments like these, it always gets us.

On the other hand, Francisco was a tad nervous but with the same energy to be with the love of his life.

Wedding Ceremony at St. Regis Bahia Beach Astor Ballroom Terrace

They had their ceremony at the Astor Ballroom Terrace, and it was a beautiful one. We had the most impeccable weather, and right at the moment that Camille walked down the aisle, yes… the waterworks kicked in.

Short and Sweet Puerto Rico Beach Wedding Ceremony

It was a very short and sweet ceremony, about 10 minutes which I found perfect. Sometimes ceremonies can extend a lot, and when I mean a lot, I'm talking about a one-hour to an hour and a half ceremony. It sometimes can be tiresome to the couples and guests, so I was surprised to have 10 minutes one, it was so refreshing, and everything that needed to be said was said.

After the ceremony, Camille and Francisco said, FINALLY! They felt like they lost 100 pounds of tension and stress and now had one, and only one objective, party like there was no tomorrow, so they did.

Bride and Groom portraits with El Yunque Rain Forest as a backdrop

We made a couple of bride and groom portraits with El Yunque Rain Forest as a backdrop. Having one of the most beautiful rain forests in the world as your background is a huge perk you have when getting married at St. Regis Bahia Resort. We only did a few minutes because we were running behind schedule, but it was more than enough to showcase this mesmerizing venue.

Best man speech and party time!

Throughout my career, I have witnessed hundreds of toasts, some great ones, and others not so great. Francisco's best man did a fantastic job keeping it short and sweet, one funny anecdote, and ending it with warm regard. You don't want to be that guy that spends 45 minutes blabbering and getting nowhere... people want to eat and dance! Haha.

ST. Regis reception party!

Now, they were in their natural habitat; they did not skip a song and were dancing their asses off with friends and family. You could not wipe the smiles off their faces as the party went on; everyone was busting out their Michael Jackson moves and singing some of our reggaeton anthems in unison.

One of my favorite Puerto Rico weddings ever

Happy to say this was one of my favorite weddings ever. It boiled down to family, friends, and genuine love.

Thanks, Camille and Francisco, for choosing us to document your long-awaited wedding, would not change one thing. It was a perfect day.
