Jaylene and Jason’s Hacienda Siesta Alegre Wedding
What can I say about Jaylene and Jason? They received us with the biggest hug and smiles, and that warmed our hearts. From the first day, they gave us the green light to do whatever we had in mind creatively, which is music to our ears! Hahaha!
Hacienda Siesta Alegre magic wedding venue
Jaylene and Jason had their wedding in one of our favorite venues on the island, Hacienda Siesta Alegre. The Hacienda has lush greenery along with Spanish Colónial architecture. Most importantly, it has a magic vibe that keeps us excited to do weddings repeatedly; we cannot get enough of this place.
We arrived at Jaylene’s room, and everyone was super friendly to us. They were very relaxed and having a great time, which automatically makes our work super easy. Jaylene has the most peaceful aura around her, and it goes perfectly with her ever-lasting smile.
Then we went to cover Jason and his groomsmen. Jason is the kind of guy you want to go and grab a beer while talking and just hanging. We can’t stress enough what a likable guy he is, which again... made our job super easy.
First look and emotional ceremony at Hacienda Siesta Alegre
They wanted to do a first look before the wedding ceremony, and so we did. You just love to see that ear-to-ear smile; their happiness was so contagious it was impossible not to smile back. We then took some minutes to do portraits in the different Hacienda Siesta Alegre areas, and off we went to the ceremony.
Overall, it was very emotional. There were many tears, laughter, and memorable moments; you could tell it was a very close group as everyone was involved and going through the same emotions as the couple.
Fireworks end the night at Hacienda Siesta Alegre
After the waterworks, it was time to party, and believe me, when I say they were ready to go all in. From salsa to hip hop, everyone was on their A-game, and there wasn’t a song the D.J. played where everyone was going to town on the dance floor.
To top it all, we ended the night with fireworks at Hacienda Siesta Alegre and a shower of rose petals. So happy that Jaylene and Jason had their dream wedding, and, most importantly, we got to document it for them.

In January of 2020 my wife and I got married on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. We always knew where we wanted to hold our wedding ceremony but the real mission was finding talented individuals to help make our dreams come true. Planning a destination wedding can be difficult and stressful but our process thankfully was not.
Our wedding planner sent us a list of vendors and William’s work stood out amongst some very gifted photographers. He made the process easy and once our day came William and Julie were FANTASTIC. They made things fun with their great energy and expertise and the final product was far better than what we could’ve ever imagined! Being able to share the joy and love of that day through William’s work is something we will never be able to thank him enough for. Exceptional photographer and an even better person who we are forever thankful for, being a huge part of our special day!
